A Late 19thC French Painted Pine Commode c.1880 sub-Fairground-Sideshow & Circus There is some light misshaping

There is some light misshaping to the metal extremities though the fronds are easily bent back in place and two fronds have some surface scratching to them where some paint has been removed

in the designs for Sion House which was the seat of the Duke of Northumberland in the county of Middlesex which shows the ‘chimney piece of the anti-room with the panel over it’ – (see photographed scan)
