A light, lightly astringent and tender tea with a creamy finish and nutty notes. It can also be prepared as a thick tea( koicha) with far more intense, full bodied, nutty and roasted notes as well as a hint of astringency. Best prepared with lower temperatures. 80C water is recommended for usucha tea and 90 95C for koicha tea.
