c1980 Yves Saint Laurent Red Silk Dot Day Dress designer-james-galanos This is an early pieceI suspect that this was from the 1980 Rive Gauche collection as it is eerily similar in design and cut to the 1979 Haute Couture version I have had in recently (see that one here). The dress is amazing and a classic Yves Saint Laurent cut and silhouette. The silk is of the highest possible grade and I adore the red and white dot pattern. It has a very 40s throwback feel and is very chic. The top is loose fitting and the sleeves slightly voluminous
