Minnesota Sunset Reflections (canvas wrap) Size:30" x 40" I choose a distant passageThe original Sunset Reflections was painted on a road map of Minnesota using thinned acrylic paints to allow the map to show through. I choose a distant passage through the trees of this lake scene to lead the viewer deeper into the painting and the map behind it. The muted colors and blurred images remind me of the many times I've spent on the water just after the sun goes down, everything is still awaiting the approach of darkness. A raised silver
