Emad runner some small holes mended toA very pretty early 20th century Mazlaghan rug from northwest Persia. Soft pinks and indigo. Pink field with ivory centre medallion, both with the characteristic zigzag outline in pale gold and pale blue and filled with floral boteh. Dark blue spandrels of flowerheads, pale gold main border of flowerheads and pale blue trailing floral guards. Overall evenly low pile, slight loss to each end and to edges. 198 x 126cm
