VESTA, temple of Vesta, of circular hexastyle construction, with a domed roof, containing a statue of Vesta, seated facing, holding a patera and a sceptre, 3. 47g., 7h (RIC 62; BMC 104). A very good example of this attractive architectural type, some residual lustre beneath light iridescent toning, about extremely fine.
