This listing is for a small Utsutsugawa ware cup and saucer made around 20 years ago by noted potter, Takemura Rizaemon XII. They are wheel thrown and decorated with a white egret motif and pampas grass over a high fired stoneware base. Each piece also features white slip, and the saucer has an interesting square shape with trimmed corners.
